Crisscross by markwileyComment: Beautifully intricate shot, nicely stitched together. However, not too much difference in the B&W and color versions |

Grasshopperby rozComment: I like how both shots work - a live grasshopper on the left, a steel one on the right |

Looking at eweby P-A-U-LComment: I like the expression, the sharp focus, blurred background - that all is good. The inquisitive look also makes this a nice picture.
But I did not score it very high because of the black vignette. That creates a gloomy mood that, in my opinion, doesn't jive with the ewe's cheeky looks.
Did you try different processing? High key, with a lighter vignette, for example? |

Lemon/Melonby BarronessComment: I like how you have two anagrams in a single picture. I also like the general composition, but I struggle with the choice of focus and the fact that it seems to be nowhere tack sharp. |

Perliteby MichaelCComment: There is a haze of unsharpness in this photograph. I had a similar issue, and I was able to solve it by applying "sharpening" upon exporting for DPC. If you just use a bi-cubic interpolation algorithm it is just not tack sharp, with bi-cubic plus sharpening it is a lot better. Maybe this helps you too. |
