...as the ghost of myself just walked on byby romanlathamComment: I can't explain exactly why I love this image, other than it has a sense of mystery about it that is really intriguing. One criticism...that damn light at the bottom left corner...distracting as all hell. |

light up the worldby jcarComment: Clever! I used a similar idea for my "Things that Go Together II" entry. A lovely, crisp silhouette.
My only comment is this: The "light coming from the balloon" is made less realisitic by the lack of light on this gentleman's face. It's obvious he has no light near him, yet he is holding this incredibly bright balloon. Just my two cents, it's a great shot. |

Mine! Mine! Mine!by garryyoungComment: This is precious and an excellent choice for this challenge. The B&W conversion only lends more strength to an image that says a great deal. A rare opportunity to use selective color and not get berated for it. (I hope that's the case, otherwise, for shame!) |

Looking Upby markwileyComment: Awesome. I love the streaks of water around the bottom of the balloon, and the particles jumping out. Those items really show the quality of detail you've surrounded your subject with, keeping it intersting. The strong shape of the balloon is immediately intriguing to the eye.
9/10. |

Be Someone's Sunshine by sjhulsComment: Wondeful composition, and while the story may be instantly clear and a simple one, it is still poignant.
Great job! 9/10. |

Il cavaliere della rosaby bubeltrubelComment: The color choice in this image is really what made it special, but your processing takes that even further. You've done a great job taking a potentially cliche image and making it very appealing. Well done. 8/10. |

To feel the wind by JudiComment: This is an extraordinary image. 10/10. My first place pick. The color is chosen perfectly and I feel like you have conveyed wind well, in both the pose and your composition of the clouds. I can't identify one thing lacking in this image.
Well done. |
