Still Life.....After the Baseball Seasonby fisheyeComment: No no no. What in the world does this picture mean?! I can see you were going for irony and juxtaposition, but because your point-of-view is so general, there are too many things going on for us (the viewers) to focus on the intellectual virtues of this photograph. |

Wild West Concoctionby backslashComment: Very cool up until the viewer's attention get's drawn to those three glaring bottles in the middle of the picture. You may think it a good idea to draw attention to something in this picture, but what this picture really needs is the ambiguity of neglect and dust. It's a very "blah" picture in terms of feeling...try to accentuate, not negate, that fact. |

Poisoned Appleby NatatorComment: Very cool, but I'm confused about what message you're trying to convey. What's the point of this; what's the point of drawing our attention to the apple. Be more descriptive in your photography and less concerned with making a pretty centerpiece. |

Still life, running faucet.by HavokComment: Very keen photography...just not up to par with some of the other stuff at this point. Develop this photograph more and more and you could get some serious recognition for this. |

Young Treesby laurenrhaeComment: I didn't like this at first until I realized what an excellent sense of color you have. The detail and the vividness of colors really sets the tone of fall. Good stuff. |

Sweeping Upby NeuferlandComment: Out of focus, to bright, not rugged enough. This could have been awesome too. You've got a weathered trunk and stable, but a perfectly clean shovel. And get the broom out of the way. Stables are rugged places where cowboys and ranchers come home to. Keep that in mind next time you go out to the stable. |

In The Fashion of the Old Mastersby gbarbeComment: You have such a grasp of color in this picture that I could kiss you. Thank you for restoring my faith in color, in texture (there's something about fruit on a wood table that's timeless, no?), and in the potential of photographers on this site to capture such design elements. |
