Alone in the Cold by MargaretNetComment: Much drama here. For "people in landscape", one of the things I was looking for when I entered and voted was some kind of purpose or relationship - a reason for the person being there. This one fits the bill perfectly. He is one with the terrain and it with him; and he gives us a fine sense of scale. Well done. 10. (Voted earlier) |

reclineby NiallOTuamaComment: I want to see more of the figure . . . and then I'm glad I can't. The lines of light and shadow are perfect . . . and enough. Lovely tones, too. |

Windows: Oddly Placed by LydiaComment: Yes, to your title. Muralists usually try to work with the . . . well, with the junk they find on a building. It's as if here the artist said, "No way around all this crap . . . I'll just overpower it". And succeeded. It really took me a bit to find all the "stuff". |

Rainy Night Contemplations by vawendyComment: Gorgeous. Truly a favorite - the lighting is wonderful. I would have placed the cat in the left pane or, since cats kind of have minds of their own . . . , cropped to move it further left. That said, the centered position is wonderful and I'd have been wrong. |

A window on fertility by markwileyComment: My top pick. For me this has the symmetry of a planned and set-up shot (which I can appreciate) combined with the intrigue and charm of "found", candid, street photography. The layers . . . I just love that you included everything from the table and chairs that invite us to sit right here to the fascinating window display to the reflection that carries us across the street and beyond. I also look forward to reading the comments on this one. Voted and bumped earlier. |

All Twirled Up by BeaubeauComment: This one is fun first because of the great, bold colors and then because what initially give the impression of symmetry upon closer inspection reveals its asymmetry. |

Follow Your Dreamby sandersComment: Lovely title and pastel palette. I love the iridescent sheen and the flow of this one. The path(s) lead in many and unexpected directions. |
