I'm sure this will get some good scores (including a 7 from me as it is a very engaging image with good technical aspects), but this seems to be more about the prism and the smoke than it is about the actual source of the light.

Great image, and very on-subject; I didn't figure this for yours though. I have to say that this reminds me so much of where I grew up, it was very easy to just sit and hear the waves, smell the salt air and feel the wind, this truly transcended the monitor viewing experience for me.

well, reading the notes, glad that this was the intended visual; there is definitely a marketable audience for this, I just don't happen to be in that crowd (at least, not this year).
figured this would've ended higher in the 6's for score, but glad it was still up there because, as stated before, the technical were very well done.
