 This light source was a string of battery powered Christmas lights I bought from Wal-Mart. They were zip-tied to an extendable curtain rod with rubber ends, which I put on the merry-go-round and gave it a spin before the shot.

The golden light is coming from a 6V spotlight to the right, set on a tree stump and point up at the top of the merry go round.
