Porscheby LydiaComment: I like the idea of focusing on the wheel here - gives some unique shapes compared to the other car photos.
Porsche is definitely a name associated with the rich. |

Fast and Furiousby CJinCAComment: A definite name association with money and clean lines. The real question is: do you own it? :) |

The oldest war gameby KfirLevAriComment: One of the more interesting shots i've seen here - basic representation but universally recognized.
I like the clean lines on the board/marbles and how obscured the background is. |

Large Wagerby giantmikeComment: Easy connection to the criteria and good job of layering the chips for focus. |

Growing Your Nest Eggby sjhulsComment: I like this image a lot. Clean, concise, easily representative of the criteria. I think this should finish high. |

Proverbiallyby GeneralEComment: I do like the layers outlining the clock. I think this image would feel otherwise flat without it.
I don't overly like the lighting, how it's harsh at the bottom and more natural at the top, makes the wood look worn out and the glass too smudged in the lower half. |

Deep Pocketby JuliBocComment: Is that a wallet in your pants or are you happy to see me?
Honestly, this image doesn't do much for me except induce a feeling of light-headed motion sickness.
I know there's quite a few people on this site who 'get' the blurry thing and enjoy shooting/seeing the pics, but I don't know if i'll ever get there and as such i feel that it takes away from what could have been a good picture otherwise. |

Pricelessby mrbig65Comment: I really don't get how this is a reference to money unless you photographed a picture of a really expensive painting/print at an art gallery (or something you possible made yourself?)
I know rich people often buy stuff like this to show off and/or use as conversation pieces, but seeing this image does not make me think of money so in my personal opinion it's DNMC. |
