stand back...the next fry is mineby clictacameraComment: nice expression. the 1 sided border seems a bit odd, but very avant-garde. the lighting and focus could be a bit tighter. good idea, but i would have waited a bit longer and worked for a stronger composition.-4 |

Steller's Jay on a Windy Dayby SammieComment: your background lends itself to some very interesting patterns. i wish you would have blurred it out a bit more. nice focus on the bird. the orange in the background is a bit distracting...maybe desat the orange out. |

Caged Beautyby lawlessComment: excellent focus. like how the bird looks pissed off. missing the top of the fence bother's me. |

Dinner Securedby jbsmithanaComment: very interesting. unfortunately, made me think of staged performance instead of wilderness action. Maybe because the eagle looks so beautiful against a rather drab scenery. like the way the fish appears to still be fighting. wish a longer lense was used to blur out the background. wish the colors and focus were a bit stronger. overall nice comp and capture. |

Grackle By The Seaby viajeroComment: i like the blue toning. i like the little motion in the leg. i wish the shot wasn't so tight, as the textures of the land and water are very interesting and hard to enjoy with the bird taking up so much of the frame-5 |

Sushi for Breakfastby dan_pendletonComment: great capture. lighting looks a bit unnatural as if from a flash. i really like how the eyes came out. i wish the background wasn't so similiar in color to the subjects |

Can I Have a Kiss, Mommy?by SandyPComment: great technique. I might have cropped down to just the faces to keep the background uniform. But perhaps that rock area under the baby's head would have made that look weird. -6 |

The Conversationby L1Comment: nice capture, great lighting. i wish the flamingo with his back turned wasn't there as it seems to be adding just a bit too much clutter. |

Ruffed Grouseby KatheComment: great focus in tough conditions. the leaves, though a good idea for a frame, are just too close to the head. |

'dove'by suemackComment: nice and crisp, good lighting. i would have liked to see more of the structure as I believe it would have complimented the dove, better than the open sky as far as composition. |
