nicely timed capture. the stick commands too much attention though. i would have cropped down to just the face and taken my chances if it wasn't super crisp (though it looks prety crisp as is). a close up of the background texture contrasted with the lines of the face and the fur on the neck would have been very interesting for me.

interesting composition and feel. Maybe no whitespace at the top (i think it would have been ok to clip some of the wing) as it would throw my attention better at the head, would make me like this more

Nice exposure on the bridge. I wish you really dialed down the aperture so there would have to have been a nice smoothness to the water. Perhaps that wouldn't have strengthened your troubled waters angle, and that's why you chose not to.
