Nice shot. Love the different types of keys. Lighting looks just a touch too bright/harsh. But there is a wonderful amount of detail, and love all the gold tones.

The shot looks a little off, balance wise. Tilted just a bit. I would straighten slightly, if it were my shot.
But I like the color conversion and the overall darkness vs. lightness to this.
Nice focus and DOF. Still trying to figure out exactly what/where this is.

Love the simplicity of this. Very clean background and the shadow adds that little extra bit of interest. Good lighting and detail as well. Very nicely done.

Lovely shot. LOVE the darkness with the light. Seems to be some dust that could have been cloned out near the light... but other than that... I don't think I wouldn't have done anything else differently. Good job

So different. I love that you've used a photographic technique, rather than an actual key, for this challenge. I am sure there will be people who are going to say DNMC... but I like this. It makes you wonder, it makes you think... and it's a beautiful photo.

Keys to the Highway...

I like the shot overall. I think that if there was some blur to the gauges at the top, it would have made the keys pool Also, there seems to be a reflection of light on the keychain (the silver part), throwing it off a little for me.
This is a great idea and I hope it does well for you.

Brass Keys

This shot seems a little over-warm to me (if that makes sense). Perhaps it's the strong gold tones, and the lighting to the left of the frame. Also, I think that it was cropped a little too much, being that the top is barely chopped off.
Did you try this in black and white? I think that may have done better. But that's just my opinion. :)
Overall, I like the keys and the idea. Good luck. :)

I really like this. The fact that this is a key challenge, and you didn't pick a normal "key". The fact that it is a key on a keyboard/typewriter. The fact that it actually says "key". Interesting, different, outside of the box. Nice lighting and DOF. Very well done.
