Hummerby cloudsmeComment: This is a good photo. You captured the hummingbird in very good focus and with the shutter speed you really froze her. I think you may have gone a little overboard with the sharpening; there's a thick black line around your feeder and the hummingbird and it reduces the realism of the photo a bit. I'm sure some would be bothered by the inclusion of the feeder, but in another frame of mind, it gives the image a place of connection. There's a purpose and a motive in the photo which is always nice. I think the photo needs a boost in saturation, the colors are leaning towards the gray side. |

END of the LINEby TonyRolandComment: This image has very good potential. The amazing patterns you've created with the lines are perfect and almost abstract in appearance. You funnel the viewer's eyes perfectly to the end of the train track...I just wish there was a strong subject we were being directed to. I'm not bothered by the grain...there's a vintage feel to the photograph which is great. |

Last Light revisitedby androgeusComment: Amazing photograph here. I really like the touch of soft focus...it's not common that you see a soft focus in landscapes like this. I also like the slight distortion of the horizon...normally it wouldn't work, but it adds to the otherworldly feel to the image. Also, you have created a great line: rocks to sun, it really creates a beautiful and pleasing composition. One thing I'm not sure if I like are the ships in the distance...they aren't distinct enough to add to the composition. |

Sunrise Reflections by AllenPComment: Gorgeous long exposure! I always love the effect it has on the clouds. The colors here are gorgeous also. The multitude of shades of blue is so delightful! I also love the reflections in the water. The long streaks always remind me of watching Bob Ross's joy of painting. The peace in those paintings reminds me of the peace in this photograph. I like your framing with the evergreens, but I think it might be a bit too much on the right side of the image. That one tree is obstructing a beautiful mountain peak. I think the framing on the left side is a little more appropriate to highlight the beautiful mountains. |

Absolut Textualityby posthumousComment: Very interesting creative effect and use of texture in this one. The abstract nature of it is throwing me off though. I keep trying to read the text and finding that it doesn't seem to relate to the subject of vodka. The highlights in the foil (?) are drawing my eyes away from the outline. |

The Absolut Dad: Always Fun and Drinks Responsiblyby DdhjokerComment: I really like your concept here. I think it's absolutely adorable. I like the top-down perspective. The psychological connection and presence here really captures me as a viewer. The interaction between the girls and their father is touching. My eyes start at the little girl on the right, follow her gaze to her father, follow his gaze to the playing table and the girl on the left. It's the perfect triangle. I do wish the image was a bit cleaner. I feel there are a lot of unnecessary toys pulling my eyes away from that triangle. The lighting is also very flat and feels very "built-in flash" to me. A natural light and a less cluttered image would have been perfect. |

untitledby jmritzComment: I really enjoy the abstract effect of the image. It gives it such a fractured feel. To me, it feels like Absolut Vodka in the city. The upper half of the image looks like the tops of buildings; you can almost see windows. The bottle of vodka is standing strong in the city landscape. The connection between the horizontal bottle and the vertical bottle is perfect: my eyes are bouncing back and forth between them. Your use of lines is perfect. |

Absolut Azureby markwileyComment: I like this photo. Your use of negative space is excellent and I love the slight shades of blue that really enrich that space. I also have to say the lighter grays that surround the bottle really provide a nice highlight. I don't like how the bottle is tending to point my eyes out of the image. I wish it was placed on the right side of the frame with some nice buffer negative space on the left. Also maybe lower in the frame, this image is very center-composed. Going back to the shades of blue: I love the effect the upper half of the image has. It almost feels like clouds. It's as though the image shifts from sea to sky. |

ON THE ROCKSby dreambigxoxoComment: I see your idea and I think you made a nice attempt at it, but your composition needs work. The bottle is almost perfectly in the middle of the frame and it doesn't draw much interest. I like how you merged the "rocks" on the bottle and on the table. Perhaps if you used actual rocks it would have been better. These glass beads are curved and pleasant. It creates a calming photograph which I don't think is appropriate for vodka...which for me at least evokes more edge (hence real rocks). The concept is there, just needs a little more time. I see the dedication in the image though. |

Absolutely undergroundby sarampoComment: I really like the composition of this. The curved lines of the tunnel frame the bottle perfectly. The industrial effect is perfect for vodka. The mud around the vodka is disgusting though. Perhaps some sort of board and a shallower depth of field would have been a little better, but the setting obviously was working for you and against at the same time. :\ The lighting on the bottle isn't bad. It's nicely illuminated, but it's a bit hard to read the logo. I think the majority of people aren't looking at this though. The halo effect of the tunnel and the framing of the bottle are hard to ignore, and frankly, my eyes are always drawn back to it. It almost has a mesmerizing effect. |
