I voted first, and now I going through to see if I can find the originals to see how I voted on the first shot.
I think I might like the original just a tad better -- but it's very close. I gave them both 8s. :) |

The use of the rocks to point to the sun is fantastic. The colors are great. But the details seem very soft on the rocks where I expect them to be crisp. |

Amazing photograph here. I really like the touch of soft focus...it's not common that you see a soft focus in landscapes like this. I also like the slight distortion of the horizon...normally it wouldn't work, but it adds to the otherworldly feel to the image. Also, you have created a great line: rocks to sun, it really creates a beautiful and pleasing composition. One thing I'm not sure if I like are the ships in the distance...they aren't distinct enough to add to the composition. |

Quite lovely, especially that golden "bar" to the left in the foreground. I like the perspective and the sun not being dead center. |
