I like the pickup of red from the wall to the napkin. I think the picture needs something more to really deliver its message.

Great use of interior light in the pumpkin. The large expanse of black helps isolate it and make it lonely, but it seems a bit overwhelming pictorially.

This really conveys the feeling of alone - somehow, a place that's usually crowded increases the sense of loneliness if only one person is there.

Nice composition, but the tree should be at least as sharply focused as the closest plants. More depth of field, or bring the tree in closer.
