The empty seats in this photo really help convey the solitude of this one man. Wthout that depth of field this may not have worked. Good capture!!

Beautiful photo. I love the b&w aspect. Lines and shapes are nice and crisp. The lighting is good, both it and the person's general expression help set the mood. Fits very well in the challenge. Great job. 8

This really conveys the feeling of alone - somehow, a place that's usually crowded increases the sense of loneliness if only one person is there.

I like the graphic that the table and chairs make for the image. The empty seats really add to the feeling of being alone. I personally would have liked to have seen the man more up in the right hand corner, but if you didn't put him there, it might have been rude to ask him to move for you.
