On the edge in force 8by doginroomComment: Nice compositional details - the boat, the bird flying overhead. The rock, which both seems to be in the act of falling and is so different in color and texture from the other rocks in the picture, is a distraction. |

the edge of nightfallby GinaRothfelsComment: One of the things that can make or break a sunset is the foreground. You've captured an interesting line of buildings in silhouette and great reflections. The only disturbing thing is the dead-center horizon, which leaves too much black at the bottom. Possibly cropping away some of the right-hand portion would improve the composition. |

cigarettesby juanangel55Comment: I like the visual pun, but as a photograph this is too messy and not well lighted. The focus should be on the cigarettes. I would guess that some thought went into placement of the objects, but what comes across is a casual snapshot. |

Life's Edgeby spectre013Comment: If I'm reading the message right, this is a very chilling notion - that medication of some sort is what maintains (or ends?) life. Photographically, the picture is kind of flat, and the lines within the bottle tops seem to be significant, but leave the viewer wondering why. |

Alone Between Earth and Skyby pncowleyComment: That's a gorgeous sky. The electric utility pole (I asume that's what it is) becomes a religious symbol (a modern Stonehenge) in this setting. Great shot. |

Water into Wineby jaimeegrlComment: Cute pun in the title, very nice shot. I like the way you lighted the glass to get the feeling of transparency and reflectiveness. |

Waterlandby e301Comment: The foggy effect is moody and mysterious. IMHO it needs some sharp object in the foreground to contrast with all that softness. |
