Abstractby soupComment: This is a brilliant shot, but it looks more like a negative than a shadow. Any shadows seem more incidental than integral to the picture. |

Lost in the Dunesby drgsoellComment: The distant shadow is intriguing. Are you on a hilltop? Next to an object that is casting a separate shadow from yours - with very careful placement? The questions keep me looking, and the beautiful landscape in the background makes a nice picture in itself. |

More Peace on Earth & Less Snowby RoosterComment: This is a good compostion, and a nice capture of the snow. However, when compared to the many well-thought-out and carefully executed entries, a picture of the backlit photographer taking his own shadow as it appears in front of him doesn't score high with me. |

light bender...by theodor38Comment: Interesting composition, and including yourself - as opposed to your shadow - is a novel idea. |

The shadow with a pipeby rhipsterComment: This is an interesting composition, and I like the textured background you've chosen. I assume the camera in the picture is not the one that took it. |

No Early Springby MJENNIComment: Nice idea. The shape of the bird is clever. Overall, I think there's too much in the photo - particularly the outline of what looks like an A frame that you seem to be holding up. I seems too busy, IMHO. |

Capturing Eleganceby KonadorComment: I like the softness of the shadow, and the way it shades off into nothing. A good contrast with the sharp rendition of the car. |
