Inertiaby moodvilleComment: Interesting composition and nice capture of the color and texture of rust. The background seems artificial for this kind of a subject. |

Farm Grain Conveyor (Screwtype)by skiefComment: Does it still work, rusty as it is? A nice capture of the color and texture of rust. The color combination - rust and grass - is not to my taste. Perhaps a tighter crop could have reduced it. |

Pupating Caterpillarby FalcComment: Nice, simple composition. I think the lighting could be more even and a bit brighter (could be tweaked in levels or curves), but a nice shot overall. |

Oxi-diesby thelselComment: Shiny metal and a brightly painted sign. I can see the rusty plate in the background, but only because I was looking for it - I would have missed it completely if I didn't know what challenge this is. The watery effect is distracting - is it water??? |

Hold On!!!by jvdpcComment: A bucking sheep?? Good use of background blur to show motion while keeping the kid sharp. I would have liked a better view of the sheep's face, which is too dark to really see. |

Fire Powerby spydrComment: Nice shot; I like the way the shadow adds to the composition. |

The Power of Persistanceby SusanFernComment: A good example of this kind of strength - nature's ability to break through barriers. I think the picture would be improved by cropping some of the background. It distracts and dilutes the message. |

Serpentallicby chinkenminComment: The low angle certainly emphasizes the strength and size of the framework. Great shot. |
