Early Morning Dew Dropsby KonadorComment: Very pretty - nice catch. Is it the early morning lighting that makes the leaf appear blue, rather than green? |

clock museumby suemackComment: This is an interesting viewpoint for a very interesting-looking building. It seems that the sky is perfectly exposed to the detriment of the forebround, losing most of the color in the plants and the details of the building. I think a little brightening in levels or curves coujld have improved this. |

leaving the woodsby AndelainComment: A lovely composition; I like the water and the building that shows only enough to create questions as to its nature without answering them. The colors are great, and the path adds to the interest. The only quibble is that the path gets cut off in the foreground, making it less identifiable as a path. |

My first flower pictureby TrollManComment: Great shot for a first try. I really like the detail, the color and the out-of-focus background that makes the flower stand out. This could be an entry in the Centered Subject challenge. Good choice of crop and beautiful colors. Take more flower pictures by all means.

Baby Bluesby debitiptonComment: I like the color of the eggs against the neutral nest. I find the out of focus leaves in the foreground very distracting. I don't know whether you would get into trouble removing them (are they weeds or intentional plants?). If so, better depth of field could be a solution, or a higher camera positon to drop them below the angle of view. |

Relicby michaelkComment: It's definitely rusted. Nice choice of framing (from the bit of fencing in the upper left corner, it looks like you were kind of pushed into position to avoid distractions) and good color and texture renditions. I think I would have cropped the right-hand fence door to tighten it up some more. |

Squaresby GabrielComment: Nice pattern shot - and the color might suggest rust, but it's not what I think of as rust color. Pattern shots work a lot better when there's a single element that doesn't belong (say, a black square). |
