Universal Firearm Safety Rules: #2 Treat every firearm as if it is loaded, #3 Always point the muzzle in a safe direction. Ah heck, if everyone followed those rules, action movies would be pretty dull. Nice use of space in your photo and nice interpretation of the challenge. Grim but effective.

Nice interpretation and good use of negative space. Personally, it may have improved if you cropped the white part off of the bottom of the bridge. The darker section would have made for a better bottom border.

A very nice interpretation of the challenge. The only downside is that the subject's head disapears in the shirt. I lighter colored shirt may have worked better.

The line of light on the right edge of the right pole is a bit distracting. Overall, however, it is a very nice picture and definately gives the impression of alone.

Very nice macro and good use of DOF. Good sharp focus too. The dismay grayness of the image adds to the loneliness called for in the challenge.

The subject is too centered in the photo. Placing him lower and to the right would have improved the photo. Also, it appears too pixelated. Beautiful sky though.

A nice expression of solitude. The only downsides is that more space is needed between the dog and the bottom of the photo and the back view of the dog isn't the most appealing. Barring that, it's a nice shot.

Simple yet provacative. The absense of furniture adds to the composition. Also a nice exception to the rule of thirds.

A nice composition. There is a bit too much lighting difference between the subject and the background though.
