The biggest surprise about this photo will be in finding out how you did this in a DPC legal way since it has been validated. Cute concept but adding a glass of milk could have taken it one step further.

Oh no. Using water instead of champagne really takes a lot away from this photograph. The bubbles running up through the ring would have looked stunning.

I'm interpreting this as the speaker of the truth doesn't have access to the microphone (it's too far away). If that's the case, then WOW. Strong message. Using DOF really helps bring out the meaning. Very well done.

NO! NO! NO! NO! That's just not right. 200th place??? People just have no sense of humor anymore. Fine, maybe you did crop the top too much, but it was still a well taken photograph. The colors are bright, the composition is good, the action is on the bottom right third. Everything worked well.

For what it's worth, you have a ribbon in my book. Thanks for making me smile.

special trout hole

I couldn't disagree more with the scores you got on this photo. Maybe there just aren't enough fishermen in our ranks who can appreciate the sacrednous of a trout hole. When I saw the photo I could just picture the trout lurking in the eddy just waiting for a fly to float down through the current. Nicely done.
