Life Saversby stickylizardComment: I love you choice of subject for the challenge, but I fear non-climbers will be lose much of the relevance. I like the lighting and the choice of black and white. |

Glowing Enterpriseby brewinjComment: Very nice capture of the Enterprise. When I visited recently I had a real hard time capturing dealing with the poor lighting there. Very few of my pictures came out well, and none as well as this one. |

Heaven's Goldby vtruanComment: I'm going to have to guess that I am looking at a harp. Very nice use of depth of field. I bet you wished you had saved this idea for the parrellel lines chanllenge though. ;) |

Gumball Machine Constructionby PacloComment: For some reason, the name Rube Goldberg come to mind when I see this photograph. Very nice interpretation of the theme. You may want to consider modifying the lighting to brighten the front of the machine and make it stand out more. |

Richmond/San Raphael Bridgeby carlacrypticComment: This is a very nice panoramic. However, the beauty and design of the bridge is lost in the distance. It would be nicer to see the detail of the angles and intersections of the metalwork of the bridge. Not as much for improving the photo per se, but rather for enhancing the relation to the theme. Aside from that, I really like the way the bridge's 'mountains' play into nature's mountains in the background and that certainly makes up for the lack of detail of the bridge. Overall, very artistic and well done. |

Lockheed M-21 Blackbirdby cabaComment: Good think I looked it up before commenting. I was going to say that the plane is an SR-71 but just learned that there is in fact an M-21. Anyway, I like the POV, however, I would have tried to include the entire engine since that is where the magnificence of the blackbird lies. |
