Remembering September 11by vladoComment: My guess is those beams of light were added in post processing. If you used a mask for this, I might have progressively blurred the mask as you got higher; light has a tendency to disperse as it travels. If you still have the psd, try it and see! If I'm wrong, I need to brush, my breath smells like foot. :) |

Grandfather and Grandsonby hahn23Comment: Wow, those horns are huge! I am going to guess the one on the left is a statue. A statue that was created in Photoshop. Am I right? (I might have to change my answer on this.) |

Your Words are like Spoken Poetryby geinafetsComment: Based on the shadows on her face, I am going to guess this light was added in post-processing. I really like the way you processed the eyes. It's cool. I might suggest however, if you are going to process the eyes like that, that you might also soften or de-noise the skin. The combination of the processed eyes and unprocessed skin makes the skin look a bit more varied than it probably really is. Oh, I also really like the hair in this shot too. |

Minimal Meby jim29028Comment: Definitely real. Nice high key, although on my other monitor all I could see is a face, I couldn't see the outline of your head. |

The Messengerby Samantha_TComment: This is very interesting. I love the beam of light and how it draws the eye to the bird. The subtleties are nice here as well, the blood, the tic marks on the wall. I do see indications that this is digitally composited, mainly in the shadows (the light coming in the window does not cast shadows), the hair (it's hard to mask hair, especially the ends), and tic marks appear to be floating slightly. Still, this is a well done image and should finish well! |

Cracked?by colorcarnivalComment: I think the patterns of leaves inside this object look like they were manipulated by some sort of photoshop filter. That however, may be an illusion. There doesn't seem to be enough detail for me to tell! My final answer is: digital manipulation. (But this one's tough.) |
