Sophia, Santiago Oaks, 2011by bspurgeonComment: what's always prominent in most of your photos is a sense of imepermanence and the way you deal with it. I am so much in admiration since I struggle also for the fleeting moment ("No one knows about that day or hour ...") for the tiny fraction where understanding occurs

Mary Kate's New Brotherby LydiaComment: Although these kids are spectacular (how can one mark pictures with kids?!), I much prefer your older shot with the new born and only the hand holding him.
Perhaps I'm wrong attributing this to dirt_diver but I'm sure that he got a picture with a baby sitting just like this one |

IMail by jagarComment: Why are so many messages after the turnover? Do people wait for you to get anointed?
Imagine that this is not one of my favorites of yours (I gave you 8) - it seems a bit heavy handed, a touch too processed. But there is always this je ne sais quoi which is so very mesmerizing. Bravo! |

you are the oneby posthumousComment: I was completely speechless and boy, this is quite rare for me. My mind wandered ... I was in the forest and back on one of Tarkowsky's set for his masterpiece "The Mirror" (if you did not see it it's a MUST along with pretty much all his movies), then in Chekhov's world to find myself thinking of Bill Viola.
Of course, when I stepped back, the spell got torn just so little ... what if you would have made the grey of the sky/ceiling and window at left more transparent ...less "applied". What if. Oh, just forget it. (On second thoughts, do make it more transparent).
Magnificent image.

landscapeby tnunComment: Heck, you redeemed yourself so magnificently! Just joking, of course. I was one of your 10s.
You wove a world that is so harmonious that even the giants find their place and sing along the music of the spheres. |
