Grape on a Knifeby drgsoellComment: Good idea, for some reason, perhaps postprocessing, the grape looks very flat! might be too much USM? Or it might be the lighting you used. |

Shallow Blocksby kim100878Comment: Not sure why you didn't put these "behind" each other more, to show more drop off in focus. As it is, there's little dynamic effect of DOF here. |

Cookies 'n' Creamby inspzilComment: Perfect timing, good setup, but the overexposure of the large area of white cream detracts a bit. |

Engagement and Weddingby cbellerComment: Nice composition, a bit tto much soft focus and too little contrast probably on purpose to enhance the softness, but it sticks out in that way. Would have been neat to get tsome sparkle on the ring as a contrast against the softness. |

Sunday Morningby jimmyn4Comment: Good composition, but seems slightly tilted right. Not a pretty subject to shoot but done with good taste and humor. |

Squirrels and Treesby CamComment: Great shot of the squirrel, and the angled tree is perfect for this. Nice use of DOF too. |

salt and pepperby slonkoComment: Good idea, but Lighting seems a bit harsh with some hot spots, and its a bit too small to evaluate in other ways. You might have used more negative space here too to make the composition more dynamic. |
