A better selection of colors would make this subject look better. They don't mix well.

Pumpkins In a Rowby ZoomdakComment: hehehe this one made me smile, I have such a soft spot for cats. This IS a nice picture, but it doesn't fit the challenge well. The colors go very well together, and its overall a nice looking picture, focus is ok, composition could be a little better. Cute :) |

Shell out of waterby NukktaComment: Nice choice for still life, but poor arrangement. The photo frame is not aligned properly, it looks sloppy on an angle. The cloth underneath is buckled in the bottom right corner - a distraction. Ligthing could be improved as well, to create a more dramatic image. |

nice, bright colors and focus is good.
I think its the composition that is throwing me off .. I feel it could be arranged to look better. Good job :)
