Brave New Worldby UrfaKComment: Loved this book. Picked a hard one, got the reproductive reference. A nice cleanly executed shot, gives one a starting point and sets them adrift knowing they can work it out because there are plenty of avenues to take. I think you've done well, minimal is good.6. |

Tribute to O.Henryby lei_73Comment: O Henry's Full House is new to me so I don't understand the cabbage (or is it a brussel sprout?), maybe that's the twist and you're being street witty ;). Nice lighting and focus on the green thing, I like this because it suggests a story, and that you understand what's there and did something with it (even though I don't have a clue). 6. |

Grapes of Wrathby snafflesComment: Symbolically there, though the novel deals with drought, the feeling of anger and angst is clear and the grittiness of despair. A tough one to portray I must admit.5. |

To Kill A Mockingbirdby mefnjComment: Lovely in its morbidity. A good find, unless you carry one of these around in you bag ;) I think it connects with the novel wonderfully and has an artistic impact, good lighting and enough grungy detail to pull it off.8. |

On Golden Pondby dtremainComment: A pretty scene but I think sunrise or sunset would have had more impact with the more interesting light. Your composition eye is working fine, the balance is there.5. |

Go tell it to the mountain ~ James Baldwinby NeatComment: Well, thems mountains, and good ones. That connects physically but not on the social level of the novel - understandably bit of an ask anyway. Maybe a dark human silhouette raised in prayer or praise could have done it, maybe even just a hand? Nice landscape all the same.5. |

Wuthering Heights, a dark and ugly placeby AmmieComment: It is ugly as it stands, shame really, but not a lot going on here for commenting I'm afraid. I see the relationship of the burnt out building with the storyline and somewhat the time period.5. |

Flowers for Algernonby flahermaComment: You have symbolized the story with the flower, gauze and medical scissors quite well, a clean and clear arrangement. The toning adds to the mood nicely. A pleasant image true to the novel.6. |
