This looks good! I love the color and texture of the photo, I also like the perspective, really close in. I do wish the whole foreground was in focus though, since the photo has a 'being served' feel to me. A little more light on the area in focus may have highlighted just right - seems a bit dark to me. YUM! That cake looks very good. I'll be checking for the recipe once this challenge is over. I like the set-up. It looks very princess/high-society. The cake looks extremely appetizing, both in its full form and in the slice. Those strawberries are huge and to die for! Choice of settings work very well. I wish the cake was a bit more in focus in the back - this could just be the light on the glaze though. Very delicious looking photo. 8

Cookies look delicious! I like the range of color, and the lighting. I find myself wishing the bottom part of the pyrex was in focus more, but only because everything else in the photo seems to have a nice clear look. That's my only real complaint. I like how the photo comes together. 8

I'm not a fan of coffee in any form, but I'm willing to overcome my bias. I love this photo. The lighting is great, I like that the words on the cup and the beans inside are all in focus. The use of other beans as background is great - gives wonderful depth. Nothing looks overdone - simple. 10

Well.. I'm not sure how tasty this is, but it looks pretty! I like the choice of dinnerware, mixed with the background of leaves and the like it gives the photo a bit of extra detail and interest. The green is a bit unappealing on its own - but it works in the shot. Lighting looks good. Would prefer the dishes weren't cut off on the side. Good image! 7

Getting hungry.. The presentation is fantastic, food looks to be cooked to perfection. I would've liked the focus to be deeper so the rice and pork were all in equal focus. Also the light seems a bit low, there's a slight yellow tinge, though that could be a symptom of the focus. It all looks fresh with that greenery on it. I like it! 7

Looks good! I like the feel of this photo. Has an outdoor feel to it for me because of the clear lighting and the bit of grill showing. The meat looks great, just the way it should. I generally like the whole food item to be in the photo but I think this works perfectly, especially with the grill accent at the top. Nice job. 8

I love macaroni & cheese but I have to be honest and say this looks a little unappealing. Might be the soft focus, the noodles don't look very defined and the color is a bit washed- out. I do like the color differences however - nice use of primaries. 4

Hehehe. Perhaps beans aren't the best idea for romance ;) I like the humor of the composition. The lighting is great both one the ingredients and the nicely soft focused table and candles. Mood is set perfectly and each aspect of the photo is well defined. I am curious.. what is on the table with the candles? A flower? It looks like a little man about to blow the candle out! Nice set-up. 8

Mmmm cake. Great color coordination. Presentation and lighting is good. I think that's a glass of milk in the background - would've preferred it to be completely visible or have the level lower (visible in the photo) so you could be sure it was milk. Everything looks fresh and delicious! Borders might look better a bit thinner, not a huge issue though. 8
