The focus on this is excellent. Its a simple composition but the clarity and lovely blue shade gives it a little something. I think this would make a very nice stock photo, has a good general appeal in my opinion. Lighting is great and I think the blue hue really helps make the piece. Well done. 8

Early Morning Light

Very nice image! I love the color of the sky it has a nice richness to it. The sun rays/lighting is great - I like the rays coming outward, wish the sky was just a little brighter though. Silhouettes are always a favorite of mine. I think compositionally the photo is good, though I would suggest trying to get it with only the scraggly trees in it. The leaf-filled tree in the bottom left pulls away from the pristine silhouette. Other than that, I think its fantastic. 7

Driveways Wanted

Excellent light usage, focus is perfect and the use of distance really furthers the photo's interest level. Black & white was a great choice. My only minor suggestion would be to crop the bottom up just a bit. As it starts to blur out I think it isn't necessary to the picture - still strong distance perspective available. Very well done image - I could easily see it as a car ad in a magazine. 10

Wonderful! The title is great, fits the image so very well. Excellent colors and use of available light. I love the contrast between the vast scrub and the looming hills. Very nice focus and detail. The only thing I don't like is the dead/grey looking scrub in the immediate foreground. Doesn't look like it could've been cropped out though without losing part of the burro?. Good job! 8

LOL what a great image. Definitely says attitude to me, also has that alone feeling. What an interesting mix. I like the color with the b&w. Excellent use of space - really enhances the alone mood. I do love Garfield and this image captures his attitude well. Great idea! 8

This is a great image. Gives the feeling of being left out and alone, yet has wonderful vivid colors and is fun! Very nice composition. Great focus, I do like the lighting but I think its a little to bright on the red piece, the glare at the bottom does detract for me. Simply wonderful. 10

This is a gorgeous image, the color profusion is marvelous. I like the lighting. It seems very peaceful, however I'm not sure where the all alone (solitude/loneliness) piece comes in? Are you talking about the vertical bush/tree? I'm not picking it up from this photo because everything seems to fit together, meshes very well. Lowered vote because of that - but it is a very technically and visually appealing image. 8

What a fantastic capture! Excellent detail, the focus is marvelous. Lighting is wonderful. Really highlights that last wisher. I would love to see a black & white rendition of this. The one thing that I don't like is the border, I think its a little overbearing. Other than that, this is a wonderful image. 9
