Pretty in Pinkby kevinswopeComment: Beautiful color. It looks a little soft, and the neck is cut off. The color is almost good enough to carry this to the winners circle. |

Cypress Treesby qnjtComment: Good composition, even the branches add to the flow of the shot. It looks a bit washed out on my monitor. Maybe if you increased the saturation and contrast. But, it could be my monitor, although, compared with other pictures in this challenge that doesn't seem to be the problem. |

Ringoby crabappl3Comment: I like the depth of this one. The green adds a nice touch to the picture without drawing the eyes away from the focus on the monkey. True ng colors, nice and bright and a bit oversaturated. This is worthy of the cover, so the border doesn't detract. |

Allianceby melongrindComment: Nice photojournalistic picture. I like the looks each of the children have. The tones are good as well as the exposure. The composition could have been moved over a little to the right. The compression artifacts detracts a bit from the power of the picture. |

Nemo: The Truth About Clown Fishby KINGComment: Nice. And real live rock. I think I would have liked to see an amemone with these guys, but I guess you had to take whatever was there. Is this your's or a public aquarium? |

At JFK Airportby oksamitComment: Nice picture. The blue ceiling and muted pallette gives this one a calming feeling. And I feel it does fit the challenge, maybe an article about airports around the world. The only thing I feel that could be improved is the composition. It's hard to tell exactly what the center of interest should be.
Are you having problems resizing your pictures? If you post a question in the forums, no matter what program you use, someone will help you out with information on how to do it properly. The only reason I say this is because it looks like you took this with a camera that is capable of producing much larger pictures without degrading the quality. I will try to come back later and delete this part so it doesn't show after the contest is over. |

Forgotten Peopleby browntComment: I'm tempted to ask if this is the same man/dog that was posted in the forums a while ago. But that doesn't matter. I love how the people motion really isolates your subjects to reinforce your title. The length of the line of people makes me think of time also, like how long will people ignore the homeless. This is just a wonderful journalistic image. Hope you are paying him for his help. |

Idaho Wildernessby goinskiingComment: Nice shot. You did very well, getting all the texture that you could with this much of a spread from light to dark. There is something about the foreground that throws off the composition. I think it's the darkness. Pretty, none the less. |
