Extraordinary Waveby Dim7Comment: Good timing. It's a little soft on the duck and the snow is blown out with fringing. I appreciate the effort it might have taken to get this shot, however an excellent picture consists of a good number of things that come together at the right moment. Without all the good things being present, you have a record of your attempt, but not a stunning photo. Sorry. 5 |

Egg Globy photoqwestComment: The lighting set up is good and the colors are pretty. It looks like soft focus, but even with that technique, there should be something in focus. It looks like everything is oof, even the hair(?) on the side which should have been cloned out, imo. It's an interesting picture that could use a little more work to make it perfect. |

a lovely industrial plantby ursulaComment: So tiny on the earth. Wonderful photo. The perspective makes it seem to be so insignificant, yet that could be any manner of toxic junk that's pouring out into the environment. The blue tone and black earth behind the plant adds to the feeling of doom I get from the picture. |

Reflections on a CDby SharonSComment: Excellent. Just when I think I can't stand one more cd picture. The title helps point out that I should be looking for the reflections and not just the cds. The upright cd adds dimension to the whole set up. Nice. Very professional, clean image. |

Wine Lightby divernickComment: Good color coordination. I like how the color splashes forward from the bottles onto the satin. If I only looked at the bottom of this picture, I would like it a lot. Sorry if the following is considered negative. The picture is tilting to the right, the blown out part of the blue bottle and glass is distracting and the background distracts. |

For a little kid, he sure can jumpby soccerdadComment: LOL. too funny. How long did he have to hang up there before the other one shot one in? Technically, it's leaning over to the left? It looks like a snapshot, which I think adds to the charm of the picture but maybe reshoot it somewhere that doesn't have all the background distractions and it would be a winner. It's such a wonderful idea! |

Black Deedsby justineComment: Pretty pen. Like the dof and the composition. The colors(wb) go well with the subject. I do think the focus would have been more effective on the point of the pen. Focus point depends on what the photographer wants to highlight in the photo, so I guess there could be something else I'm not understanding, sorry. |

Size DOES matterby cabaComment: The lighting is very good and shows off the objects selected to their best. I'm thinking that it would be more harmonic if the human part could be more easily recognised. As far as the clothespin goes, you did an outstanding job. |

Exclamation!by tolovemoonComment: I look at this and think of all kinds of possibilities. Not that you didn't do a good job. All of the parts are so simple and interesting. Two black rectangles and two circles. I would love to see some more shots if you experiment with the composition and lighting. |

Black Hatby C_Steve_GComment: The light on top and outlining the faceplate adds a nice touch to the photo altough I would have liked more light all the way around the faceplate. It looks like the texture of leather in the background, but my monitor isn't able to bring it out very well. If it is, I compliment you on the perfect choice of background. I had scored this 4 but because of your background, I'll bump up your score. If you edit on a mac, you might want to increase your gamma setting. If you don't, I apologize. |
