Snake eyesby johnmComment: Those are different! There seems to be a yellow cast to the picture which, imo, should be at least partially corrected. |

No. 2by jimmyn4Comment: Meets the technical part of the challenge very well. Good job on focusing and lighting. The colors are good. It's not very interesting and that's part of the challenge also. |

Park Bench in Shadeby NelzieComment: Good potential. Great colors. Needs more dof or, imo, the focus should be on the rusted bolt. If you shoot parallel to the object you will get more perceived dof because everything will be on the same focal plane. |

Light As A Featherby birdyblueComment: If the feather was floating maybe softness would be ok. Or if it was closer and some details were evident it would be ok. In this picture it looks as if the softness was an error in focus. There is a difference that can be seen between soft focus and a picture that is oof. With soft focus, the picture will still show the areas of sharpest focus as sharp while the areas with less focus will have a glow. An inaccurately focused shot will not have any area of shapness. |

Easy as Pie....by martinawComment: Good stock image(that is a complement). I like the choice of dof. It forces the focus to the blueberries. Maybe give just a tad more to get some good contrast on the beater. The prop arrangement is good. The only things that could be improved is the color. It seems to be muddy. You can adjust that post processing. I don't know which program you have. I use psp and I would do a manual color correction using the upper left corner as the area to shift. I would choose a neutral light grey for the color. Then do a histogram adjustment for more contrast. |

Dew the Blueby LoneGreyWolf20Comment: Think I would rather see it with it's natural colors. Nice capture of the raindrops with good dof. The tones seem a little flat. |

bludolphby byoungComment: I like the composition, the waves, the colors and the flare/drops behind the little guy. The clarity is great also. It's a good inventive shot. Imo, what could be improved is the glare on the water and to a lesser extent the hot spots on the bludolph. Some ways of controling the glare: use a circular polarizer, place some material between the light sorce and the water or if they don't work, clone them out on ps. Still, I do like it enough to give a 7. |

Fuji in the sky with Diamondsby MAKComment: I get the title. Mt Fuji. I have read that the smog is really bad there. I'd like to see more contrast in this picture. |
