Because He Needs Meby scarbrdComment: My initial reaction was to be bothered by too much going on in the frame, but ultimately I'm drawn to the subject and his desperate expression of sadness and helplessness. He is quiet surrounded by noise and chaos. Powerful. |

Untitledby cynthiannComment: Fragmented perceptions. This is a powerful image for me that implies repetition and brokenness at the same time. Back to comment and bump the score. |

0638.jpgby aliquiComment: I suspect this is from the same set that yielded your Minimalism II entry. This is very nice also. |

Crikby aliquiComment: Terrific! So much of the image center area is still and empty, yet I'm drawn in to look carefully at the edges. Perfect color effect, too! |

Enchanted Satinby aliquiComment: The cool toning initially catches my attention. Not sure at first why, so I look longer and get drawn in by the composition, bokeh and graduated light. Kept me looking.. in a good way. |

The bendsby aliquiComment: For this one, I'm actually back to comment after only 3.5 years. I was drawn to this immediately today and then noticed I had given a 9 during voting (2010 was my first year in DPC). I love this inverted reflection technigue, and this is really well done. Plus the color palette is wonderful! |

Vexatiousby aliquiComment: I really like the progressive horizontal layering. The grain/noise works here. Cool. |
