When the Lake sleepsby the_rkpComment: Although I don't always respond well to this level of stylized color effect, this is really lovely and evocative. Calming. Nice. |

Romanceby rooumComment: There's a lot going on in this tableau... and the subjects are SO small. Yet I find my eyes moving smoothly through the frame and landing right where you want them. Fascinating. |

Eyes of a Childby Ja-9Comment: An unusual cropping/framing choice. I keep coming back to this, but can't say I love it. |

I Spent My Weekend Stairgazingby jomariComment: I was the 9 vote on this image. Never got around to commenting, so...
I really like the bold choices here. Not only the B&W conversion, but the impenetrable shadows, the aggressive vignette, the grain, and the motion blur. I particularly like posthumous's comment alluding to Picasso. Bravo! |

Government palace 1790by armando_mComment: You did a great job of organizing the scene. You've centered the main column, but the slight variance of angle for the left and right hallways combine with the framed placement of the cathedral spires under the left arch to create a combined centered/non-centered balance that works well. |
