I don't know if it was done deliberately, but there is a lot of noise in this image, particularly on the tips of the wings. A nice improvement over the original though!

There's a bit of HDR glow around the big tree to the left of the frame. The path seems a bit too bright as well.

Great improvement in the colours and sharpness on the head and the colours of the background. The body is a bit less interesting, but that's not the focal point of the shot anyway.

A much better photo, but other than both photos having a similar species of insect there's nothing tying the two together.
