just wanted to add my props. faidoi's comment about the spectators in the background is so true...never would have seen that myself...but very true. nice work.

Ticket to the Doghouse

Ahhhh. Todays male is becoming too sensitive and less manly every year. Tell her that you ripped the tape on purpose - because you wanted to - and that there is no such thing as "doghouse" in the house that you paid for (or at least half -and that means half the master bed too...). But I digress on the "femification" of todays male.....The composition is nice, the dof if good. The lighting is good too.

the background clashes too much...wish it were plain to bring out the main subject.

Comment:
i don't think that the serious subject of poverty could be considered something as trite as "oops", but a cool shot nonetheless. The dof is good, and the composition is pretty strong.

cool shot - i don't think that a life gone wrong is as trite as "oops" but cool shot nonetheless. Good lighting and colors. Dof is good too. I'll have to dock a point as I don't think this is in category, and I feel that they should get preference.

This bird slamed into our window

oh man - i have a big picture window that birds slam into all the time. The ones that don't fly away right away I wrap in a blanket to keep them warm when their in shock and give them an eye dropper of gatorade ( i used to work for a vet - and gatorade has the same electrolytes that pedialyte, etc. have that the vet uses for the same situations) and they usually are good to go after a little while....kudos to you for saving the little guy - too many people don't care - I'll give you an extra point for having a big heart!! I like the shot too. I may have given a little more negative space off to the right where the bird is looking though, but that's just a minor observation. The colors and dof are there too.
