Well Hello!by BuddyBaumComment: Focus is clearly on the nose but the extrmely shallow depth of field already loses sharpness by the eyes (which are critical in wildlife shots in my view). I also feel the light is a bit harsh. Overall good composition, but find the subject uninspired for a Free Study. 5 from me. |

Innocenceby MikeOComment: The frame behind his head is VERY distracting. Image would be much stronger with a plain background. Also, way too much vignetting creating too big of a contrast for a portrait. |
