Edgemakerby billiebComment: The photo is grainy and the wide white border on the right and bottom are very distracting. The lighting on the metal is good! No blow outs anywhere. |

Skating on thin Ice!by trainComment: Excellent idea and composition, I like the skate slipping on the edge, and your original title fits the challenge, too! Left side of the skate metal could be more in focus, maybe crop is too tight on the left. I am hesitating between 8 and 9, but I love the idea and all so much that I give you the 9. :-) Happy Holidays and photograph a lot. :-) |

Leaning Pineby BeagleboyComment: Is it on the edge of falling into the river? Very creative idea, I also love the silouettes and the background having a foggy feeling, and a wonderful nature photo! White border is not even on the sides, it's narrower on the right. Take 9 from me. |

cigarettesby juanangel55Comment: Good idea, makes me think about it in a literal way, too. The scratch on the edge of the table(?) is a bit distracting and background is busy for my personal taste, too (removing the objects or shallower DOF would have helped, I think so). The ash-tray could be sharper, too, though the composition of it is good! |

Dividing the Shotby Melly8522Comment: I like the diagonal composition, anyway it could be sharper, this way it's a bit blurry. Maybe I would have more "divided" apart" feeling if you had added some subjects to the both sides, just an idea and matter of personal taste. |

On the Edgeby lightpro1Comment: Very good idea, I like the right skate being on the edge especially! I would like to see this one bigger and graininess could be reduced with NeatImage, I also suggest not to use digital zoom at all: good for nothing, you can get the same result by cropping a bigger photo. Background on the top of the image has blowed out, too... Keep on trying, this idea could be improved to a good shot. |

Cracked Leatherby Spanish_GreaseComment: What about composing the whole press-stud into the photo? Would be a nice element following the rule of thirds. :-) The leather is well captured, great idea! |
