Quiet Morningby crikComment: Very difficult exposure... well taken. Did you use a GND filter by chance?? Would be a textbook case for one. |

Walking the Dogsby AmmieComment: Super color and a very nice silhouette. The details are a little low here due to the low contrast lighting. The bank of the pond is a little soft as far as sharpness goes. Otherwise a tremendous shot! |

martha, water is boiling (where is that girl?)by cutoutComment: Originally posted by balancedfox: I like the processing. Without the title, I wouldn't have got it. I hope the DPC voters appreciate it! |
Can you fill me in because I don't get it even with the title! Even though I loved this!! |

Relaxed Portraitby dahlinComment: You got nice lighting but the composition is a little off because the framing cut off her elbows. The background is a little cluttered with the big blotchy patch of light at the top left. |

Home is where the heart isby P-A-U-LComment: Wonderful thatch roof! A really neat site and this shot shows off it's fairy tale potential. You really framed this difficult composition well. If it were allowed, cloning out the power pole and lines would help tremendously. I also think the sky being so bright draws my eye up there more than to the subject. |

No matter how high a bird can fly, It still has to look for food on the ground.by MrJearComment: Wonderful viewpoint! How you got that I will never know... I think the multitude of fish and the ripples in the water really help the bird to blend in to it's background. One thing that could be done in post would be to make the bird a bit brighter, put the spotlight on it. Perhaps it would stand out a little better. Otherwise, a great and probably rare shot! |
