Come Beyondby westfordComment: Cropping out the sky would create a better composition, in my opinion. I do like the whimsy. The doorway invites you in to a new world on the other side. |

The Giftby GolferDDSComment: I like the selected desaturation here. Tells a story well. It does appear to need some rotation or some lens correction to straighten out the edges, but it could be an optical illusion. |

Buttercup Seasonby glad2badadComment: Lovely pastoral scene made nicer by the selective desat. I like the angle of the field which helps the composition. I think perhaps the highlghts could have been bumped up a bit and the shadows darkened a hair. |

Pacific Rimby mrbig65Comment: Nice stock type shot. The only thing to make this stronger would be to have the brand rotated to be more readable. That may have been out of your control here. |

Daffodilby RyanWComment: The yellow really pops out at you. I think this could be improved by using a scrim and a wider aperture. The scrim to modify the dappled light making it a little more even and softer and the wider aperture to blur the background and isolate the subject some more. |

Long Term Parkingby giantmikeComment: The desat is done well and the story is definitely told in this shot. Despite the good camera work, with all the overgrowth, I fell the subject is not really isolated. I don't think there is anything you could have done to improve that except to get out the machete! |

San Juan IIIby rameviComment: The selective desaturation is nicely done. I feel kind of boxed in with the portrait orientation and the negative space at the top. |
