Self-Defenceby angkokwengComment: I really can't stand drama, and I am really disturbed by what I see in this picture therefore it must be truly dramatic! So I give it a 10 even though I think it is a little over processed (too smooth skin, lacking texture). I can only imagine what is coming at this person to make him resort to a cornered fork defence. |

widgetsby DeenComment: I believe the subject is the thermostat, which is definitely in the first third of the photo. It is nicely photographed with good focus and nice DoF. However the photo is lacking in interest. It would serve as a great illustration for a textbook and you should consider this as a great stock photo. |

swiss farmhouseby DiScComment: Definitely meets the challenge. However this photo is lacking in interest because there is no foreground or background supporting the subject, only a flat wall. |

Dragby rinacComment: Great parallel lines. You did a geat job of ensuring nothing was in focus yet letting still letting the lines lead you through the photo, yet I am not feeling the drama here. The photo is interesting but not emotive for me. |

Sand Castleby dtremainComment: Surprisingly, you have managed to make this blob of sand interesting. It is not one dimensional even though there is only one color and you have really shown off the textures in this scene. How can this be better? Perhaps with a shallower DoF to isolate the foreground. Great Job. |

OMby pixelpigComment: Good concept but the sticks don't quite look in focus. The light spot is very harsh and the left side of the photo is cut off. |

Great Horned Owlby karenkComment: Awesome DoF, Focus and Sharpness. The eyes on this owl are amazing except for the yellow reflections. I can be open to the option you put the eyes in the top third of the photo, however this composition is more fill the frame. |

Disposable Societyby CuttoothComment: Excellent tones. There is nothing one dimensional about this BW image. The message is clear too. |

Sistersby MArteSiComment: Great lighting, no harsh shadows are cast by the objects. You have great vision, but to me this is just not very interesting as a photo. |
