Freedomby mgarsteckComment: Not enough of the subject made it into the plane of focus for me. Nice background though. |

Wonderby UrfaKComment: It could be a look of wonder... or it could be "oh man, I screwed up..." funny capture though. |

simple beautyby dianapf1Comment: The composition is slightly off for rule of thirds... if that is what you were going for. Other than that, great pop of color and selective focus! The entire subject is within the plane of the depth of field which makes it better. |

Lonely Flowerby stantheman1313Comment: Very good story telling image. An urban doorstep... rose left behind... city lights blurred in the background. It tells the tale of love left behind, whether lost or forgotten or just too in the moment to pick up the spontaneous gift. |

The Colors Of Faithby jagarComment: Very spiritual with the light in the foreground adding a deep metaphorical symbolism. |

Colors of faithby ShubhiComment: As a westerner, I am left wondering what these colors have to do with faith. I feel the story is left untold. That being said, the colors do pop and stand out well from the rest of the scene. |

Golden Antherby aj1621Comment: I feel the color of the border draws my eye outward from the focal point of the photo to the edges taking me away from what I ought to be looking at. It is a distraction. That being said, the lighting is wonderful on the flower and the yellow stamen or pistols (whichever) really pop! It's kind of wierd about the blueish chromatic aberation around the edges. This being advanced it could have been dealt with in post. |
