Looks good. Great exposure. As far as composition... your inclusion of the table at the top of the frame and having that area be the brightest spot in the photo leads my eye away from the subject into your blurred background. I would suggest get in closer to the subject and lose the background.

Very good composition and the food looks Yummy. I would suggest a slower shutter speed to let in more light or increasing the exposure in your raw editing to brighten this up a bit. It is just underexposed.

This is a very good subject for pattern. I think the shot is just too literal. It is docmentary. Try different perspectives and angles to really accentuate the architectural pattern to the viewer.

Your imitation of the photographers style was well executed as far as the background choice and the clothing style and the character of the subject and props used. However te hd quality of your photo doesn't quite have the same feel as the photographer you have chosen to imitate. His portraits have more texture and a little less DoF and some added blur where yours is super sharp quality.
