I find this somewhat humorous even if unintentionally! Pardon me if it is not the case, and I mean no offense, but this to me shows a guy with an ego trying to be the star of the show, blurring out and overshadowing his less egotistical friend... Like I said, I find it humorous and don't mean it personally.

This self portrait is captured with great dramatic effect due to the perspective being slightly from below and the tight crop. I get the feel of old Hollywood a la Liz Taylor, even though it is in color. It must be the sharp green eyes, beautifully detailed hair and the high contrast PP. Very nice job with the exposure, keeping the lighting on the forehead from being too harsh and blown out.

Nice eye for the light and shadow. Good shapes ang lines. I think the tones need a little more depth and the subject needs a bit more study to create a more abstract view.
