Great gathering. @ pixelpig, I also tried holding the camera at eye level and walking along an alignment, it worked. However I was too bouncy and the auto stitching came out very choppy.

I like this for the color and whimsy. I think there are two things that can give it more pop. One would be to bring out the highlights using the tone curve adjustment. Upping the highlights would give it that needed glow! The second thing is more or less to personal taste. I would try to find a cleaner background. I think the trees merge with the balloons.
