The Heartby Manish ShrivastavaComment: I was going to do something very simular to this. Bought special glasswear and everything. in the end choose another picture but I am curious how well this one does. Good luck!
I would have shown the bottom of the other glass instead of cutting it off |

When I Grow Up....by TuckersmomComment: I really like that you got matching pattern on the two vehicles, a shame about the hot spot on the window. |

Home Sweet Holeby scalvertComment: This is the best of all the prospective shots, indeed the best shot of the whole challenge, IMHO. Love the attention to detail, that the child is holding a stuffed mouse and the mouse painting, as well as the crayon for size. I will love to hear how this was done. |

Petit Parfumby EddyGComment: A rose is a tough choice for a size challenge, since they have roses that are small, as well as very large. (See a couple of entries that used roses) A normal red rose is say 2 inches across, and a normal perfume bottle is about the same. I am afraid it would have been more effective to use the perfume bottles as the point of reference and a smaller rose. Instead of a rose, could have used something else a women would have to give a sense of scale. I really can't tell if these objects are one inch high, two inches, three etc...
Other points, the lines on the paper are distacting, and the yellow cast implies an auto white balance and then inside lighting. There is no one spot for my eyes to rest on, but there is no circle of leading lines to draw my eyes to see the whole picture either. I would have prefered the image with just the rose and the right most bottle. the green stem leading in one direction and the "leaf" on the bottle (flame?) leading in the other both bring the eye to the right one third line, and the contrast between the rose and the bottle's color |

Soup & Crackers for Lunchby emh11Comment: Very nice! I really like the spoon, the red colours, the pot, I would have skipped the cracker? behind the soup can, to me the white organic shape takes away for the curves and straight lines of the rest of the objects. The reflections on the bottom of the spoon are a bit distacting as well. Still I expect this to be in the top ten for the challenge. - 8 |

Notepad Leaves by arpitaComment: One entry, one Ribbon with a beautifully designed idea, that is original and creative too. Wow! And not a single one or two, normally even the best have some trolls given them ones and twos to boost their own shots. |

The Blue Streakby BigSmilesComment: What I like, a) It is definitely blue, b) DOF looks great, c) White balance is right on. d) I like the border, but borders are always risking.
Dislike, a) would have cloned out that hotspot above the top tire. b) the choice of car looks too fat to be a blue streak. Would have been more effective as a blue toy race-car. c) I would have liked to see it a black dotted line as if there were lanes. That or another different colored car (same type) beside it looking like they were going to race. Something to give it more of a sense of story, or dynamic feel. Just a few ideas. |

Dinner time!by turdaveComment: What a great idea, only problem is the folds in the table cloth take away from the image, as to the little spots by the knife. I really like the angle and the DOF, plus the white balance seems right on. |
