I know you didn't have much of a choice, but the white on white really hurts this photo. Great moment you captured here though - as Lord Tennyson said, "Nature, red in tooth and claw".

Good effort on catching both of them looking back at you, but there's just something about it that feels a little flat, possibly the light you had to work with. The crooked pole doesn't help either.
