Beautiful shapes and textures. I'll leave it at that before I suggest anything inappropriate. Seems a little overexposed/washed out, which might be causing you to lose a little bit of the nice texture of the sand, throughout the image.

Conflicted with this image. Meets the challenge and well shot. It's not overexposed like many of the entries. There are lots of interesting shapes and a nice textures with the smooth holder and the teabag to enjoy. I'm not sure why the overall image doesn't appeal to me much, even with all these plusses. It must appeal enough, though, as you got me looking at it a long time and thinking about it.

I just discovered this looking thru the Posthumous, Part IV thread... you only described it, but I came to your profile to find it, because you reminded me of a similar shot of my own that I took just weeks after yours. In my case, I didn't see it until someone else pointed out "Nessie" in my image when I was showing it and other images off.

This was a great concept and well done. :)
