Golden sunsetby tylorrcComment: The issue here seems to be more one of improper exposure than of improper white balance. I like the glowing outline on the two men in the evening light. |

88 Fahrenheit by mariucaComment: A real "I feel like I'm there" capture. Congratulations!
I like the grain and I'm curious as to whether you added some in PP or whether it's all due to "atmospheric conditions !!"
I hope you enjoyed a good meal as well as a good capture. Message edited by author 2017-07-10 16:42:04. |

Arson and the Elements by jomariComment: Very nice. Meant to comment much earlier. I've loved many of the abstracts you've found over the years at your son's wrecking yard. Thanks.

Hawk in the Birdbath! OMG!by Bear_MusicComment: Originally posted by SaraR: What an amazing catch. The only time I have seen a hawk actually in my garden, he was in the process of killing a starling.... |
Robert was discreet and did not mention that the first time we saw this fine fellow he was atop one of our fence posts with a small rabbit pinned firmly under his talons. He stayed there until he had torn it apart and eaten everything but the bones. On the plus side our garden is thriving with fewer rabbits ... Message edited by author 2017-06-11 13:14:33. |

"Avoid centering your subject" by Bear_MusicComment: Congratulations, sweetie! It's been a treat having this red tailed hawk spend 20 - 30 minutes at a stretch within 15 feet of us, hasn't it! Ignoring us opening the sliding door and moving around outside. This is a fantastic capture and presentation. Love all the detail and such a serene look, at least that's what I like to think it is :-). |

A day of gloominessby NeatComment: I like the grain and somewhat abstract feel of this image and the tendrils of clouds. The truncated cyclists in the corner look almost like a couple of Hieronymus Bosch characters tucked in for fun. |
