Just Playby JulietNNComment: Nero? Overall a very strong image. The silhouette of the hand and the frog end of the bow is an especially nice touch, that grabbed my interest before my eyes moved on into the rest of the image and somehow "anchors" the image for me in a way that adds a lot. |

Peaceful time on the Beachby whiterookComment: I find this a slightly strange yet powerful image. I like its abstractness. For some reason I wish you had not titled it as the title seems to limit the interpretation of this image. |

Disingenuous melancholyby daisydavidComment: Interesting image and lovely light on the headdress. I find the background distracting, especially the bright light in the upper left. Perhaps there is some symbolism associated with that light that I am missing, since this is a fine arts challenge. |

u n t i t l e d by bmilneComment: I assume the lack of focus on the face is deliberate. That, the expression, and the crop provide a feeling of remoteness, but I wonder if the same effect could have been achieved just as well with the face in focus. Lovely details and areas of light in the shawl and her hair. |

Please tie my shoes mummyby NeatComment: An image that suggests a story. Evocative. However, there appear to be artifacts around the hands and arms, with a prominent dark line. |

The rancher by Yo_SpiffComment: Congratulations. I love the intensity of his eyes, beautifully framed by the rim of his hat. Great shot Steve. |

Waiting My Turn by njsabsComment: I already voted on this yesterday. A lovely shot of a very mature looking face and I like the pose and crop.
Hmmm, I wonder if this is one of Jenn's daughters....?. I was referring to a different Jennifer!. Message edited by author 2011-04-11 08:29:03. |

Crossing the Creekby ecmguyComment: This is a very striking image, the shape and the texture in the bridge supports adds a lot of interest. I find myself wanting a wider tonal range, but it's a powerful image, none the less. |
