Moving, Againby GotchaComment: Very nicely caught. This seems like a journalistic photo to me, something that would accompany a story about poverty, or can even say enough by itself to stand alone. The composition is very strong, the way the person is straining to pull the trolley creates a lot of tension. The long shadows give that feeling of either dusk or dawn (it's hard to tell), times of the day that have a special emotional impact on the viewer. I think I feel like giving this 10 since I had to look at it for so long to work out why I like it so much :) |

Under the Roadby PaulinaRDComment: Very pretty. This looks like the same bridge someone else photographed, but from a better angle, and with a gorgeous sunset. Nice silhouette. The structure of the bridge is really emphasised that way. |

City Beatby KarenBComment: Beautiful! I love cities at night, and the way you composed this with the coloured lights streaking off into the offset vanishing point is very striking. |

Country Crossroadsby David EyComment: Very pretty landscape. The blankness of the sky detracts a little bit, but I guess it was overcast, which brings out the colours of the trees nicely. |

Into the Nightby rcrawfordComment: I like the way the symmetry of the road is broken up by the rugged hills. Nice colours and mood. |

Photo-opp Babesby David EyComment: I think the negative effect is a neat idea, but not for this photo. It's hard to see what's going on, so I saved it and inverted the colours just to see. To me it's a fairly interesting photo, i like the way the kneeling girl is running her hands through her hair, but.. it doesn't really make any kind of bold statement that the negative version would enhance. |

Magnoliaby elemessComment: Beautiful... but a bit too grey (on my monitor). I love the curling of the petals. |

By the watersideby cbonsallComment: I love the way the light plays on her hair. The verticle lines of the fence are very strong. |

Chive Flowerby KarenBComment: Another image with too much compression! The 4th one I've found. I'm sure others have said this, but compressing down to 87kb when you can use 150kb hurts your image quality. Other than that, a nice photo. |
